Time for Another Update!

Where to begin when so much has been going on. It seems as if the minute we say next week we will have more time, the days fill up with important things to do!

On the 14th, I was given the opportunity to travel to Seattle and be presented an award for continuing professional development. They provided a great meal and a pretty plaque. Kelly went as my support and we enjoyed some time with just the two of us.

On the 15th, Kelly, Casey,Marcus and Alex Vanderholm, Paul and Joe Toolson, Kelly McClellan, and Jeff Hinkley went and helped some members of our church. I took advantage of the time and shampooed the rugs upstairs. Fun!!!

The following weekend, we went to the State Park in Chelan and helped clean campgrounds and rake leaves for Make A Difference Day! There were only about 10 of us, but we dove right in and finished the job.

Casey was able to play in the last four games, and did a great job! Unfortunately in the three way playoff game (game #5), Casey was kicked in his leg and was sure he had rebroken it. He was so upset, he didn't even celebrate the fact that they are first in their league. They beat Brewster 0 to 20! Way to go Manson!!! As you can see below, he is still healing and will be back in the game this Friday.

After fifth game:

Pretty darn proud of that boy of mine! Here he is #63 taking down one of the other team.

I'm glad you got some ball games to watch. Why didn't you tell me about your award? That's great!

Congratulations on your award :)
I am not even going to comment on that x-ray... well, ok, I can't help myself - that's scary stuff! This has been a brutal year for injuries; just imagine what would have happened if we hadn't been praying for our boys!
